DO YOU SEE ME? The words of this title Do You See Me? ring in our ears at Father's Heart. We see these children and we care for them. This little video is a window into their lives--the marginalized children of Zambia, Africa. It is bad enough that parents are hurting and dying (mean life span is 35 years due to HIV/AIDS), but it is a tragedy that the children have to share the anguish also. Half a generation is growing up without homes, families, food, and education. A multitude of them have no mommies and daddies. We have seen the faces of these children, and they are wondering, "Does anyone see me, does anyone care?" These are not emotionally charged words for effect, this is the way it really is.

The ministry of Father's Heart Africa is one of love and care for the vulnerable and orphan children and church planting in Africa. We are also committed to relationship with our sponsors, the children we care for, and those African churches that actually do the ministry day in and day out. Our unique positioning among fellow Christians in Africa, particularly in Zambia, allows us to met many needs for few dollars. We are truly a grass roots organization and are happy to be so.  |
